The whole table, from one drawing

Runner, placemats, napkins, tea towel and apron, printed from the same artwork. Nothing on the table is nearly the right colour.

And the kitchen it came out of

The same prints on the things that hang by the sink and get worn at the stove.

Table linens, designed to go together

Most tables are assembled rather than set. A runner from one shop, napkins from another, a tea towel that is nearly the right green. Studio WGS prints every piece in a collection from a single artwork, so the cloth napkins, table runner, placemats, tea towel and apron all belong to the same table.

Napkins

Cloth napkins in dinner and cocktail sizes, in soft linen-look cotton. Hemmed on all four sides and machine washable.

Table runners

Runners for round and rectangular tables, printed edge to edge. The runner does most of the visual work on a set table.

Tea towels & aprons

Kitchen towels and cooking aprons in the same prints, so the kitchen matches the dining room.

Common questions

What is a tea towel?

A tea towel is a thin, absorbent kitchen cloth used for drying glassware and dishes by hand. It is lighter and less fluffy than a terry hand towel, which is exactly why it dries glass without leaving lint.

What size should a table runner be?

Aim for a runner that overhangs each end of the table by roughly 6 to 12 inches, or sits flush with the table edge. For a round table, centre a shorter runner rather than trying to span the full diameter.

What is the difference between dinner and cocktail napkins?

Dinner napkins are around 20 inches square and go on the lap at a seated meal. Cocktail napkins are roughly half that and are used standing, with a drink and something small to eat.

Are your table linens machine washable?

Yes. Wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low. The prints are dyed into the fabric rather than sitting on top of it, so they stay put through repeated washing.

How do I fold napkins for a dinner party?

The simplest fold that still looks considered: fold in half, then in thirds lengthwise, and lay it flat under the fork. For something more decorative, a loose knot or a simple fan across the plate works with every print here.
